If you’re interested in having your book conside If you’re interested in having your book considered for a Black Fiction Addiction Book of the Day spotlight post, direct message me on this page with a note introducing yourself and include an Amazon link to your book. If I think it might be a good fit, I will request a review copy. 

A few things to note:
📍I do book recommendations, not book reviews, and I currently do not have a book club. 
📍I rarely spotlight urban fiction. It’s just not my thing. 
📍I do not spotlight nonfiction. 
📍I work at least two months in advance on Book of the Day features, so if you have an upcoming release, the sooner you contact me, the better your chances of getting a spotlight during the week your book is released.

My name is Chandra Sparks Splond. I’m an author, blogger, editor and speaker. I’ve published 17 books, mainly for teens and tweens. I’ve been editing for more than 25 years, including stints at Good Housekeeping and as the consulting editor for BET Books/Arabesque. I’ve also worked with tons of established and aspiring authors, including E. Lynn Harris, Leslie Esdaile/LA Banks and Kimberla Lawson Roby.
