Author Edwina Martin-Arnold Has Dropped a Sweet New Release

April 23, 2021 by Chandra Sparks Splond

Author Edwina Martin-Arnold is drawing on real life for her latest installment of her Chocolate Romance Series. I recently spoke to her about Chocolate Drop.

Tell me about your latest book.
Chocolate Drop is book three of The Chocolate Romance Series.

LOVE IN THE TIME OF CORONA!

Maria Anderson and Jian Patu feel an instant attraction the moment they see each other at Seattle General Hospital where they both work. Their chemistry is off the charts until it’s interrupted, first by COVID-19 and then second, by the riots in response to police brutality.  New love is always fraught with challenges even in the best of times.  Will the fire between these two be doused by outside influences or will love conquer all?

Why did you decide to write it?
I love romance, and I have been reading it all my life.  In the late 90s, I decided to try and write one.  The rest is history.

What do you want readers to learn from the story?
I want them to enjoy the ride.  I like to take my readers on a journey.

If you could pick another profession, what would it be and why?
What I currently do.  Use my law degree to fight for Civil Rights.

What’s the best part of being an author?
Creating.

What’s the worst part of being an author?
Deadlines.

What’s next for you?
Continuing to write and publish books.

Do you have anything you would like to add?
Edwina Martin-Arnold is the author of several romance books. She is a hopeless romantic, and a true believer in happily ever after. However, Edwina knows that the path to real love is rarely straight forward. To the contrary, it’s often paved with many turns and a peril or two, in real life and in the stories she creates. When Edwina isn’t daydreaming about love, she’s using her law degree to fight for Civil Rights or is coaching basketball.
