Tell me about your latest book.
This Side of Beautiful is a journey of love through the lens of Janae and Landon, two talented yet scarred performers who find so much more than love in each other: they find themselves. It’s sexy, dramatic, angsty, redemptive, and above all, an undying love. This book is my personal story about accepting, embracing, and celebrating differences and your uniqueness. Readers should take their time and step away when needed because, at times, it is heavy and so very necessary.
How long did it take you to write it?
Five months, including revision and editing.
Which character could you relate to the most and why?
Probably Landon because of his shyness and tendency to want to be unnoticed.
How are you celebrating the book’s release?
A nice dinner and a smile since it happens on a Tuesday. LOL.

Do not read reviews and just write!
What books have you read lately and loved?
Ooh, good question. The Lies We Tell About Life, Love, and Everything in Between (Truth And Lies Book 2) by CCJ [Christina C. Jones] and Can’t Get Enough by Kennedy Ryan.
What books are you excited to read?
90 Days to Love by Cassie Verano and The Divorcetante by Mia Heintzelman
What’s next for you?
A couple of projects I can’t yet talk about. and later this year, the follow-up to Chicago Blues, Zuri Blues and the last book in the FANtasy Series, Tempted.
