Zuri Day is back with third installment of her Sin City Secrets series. I recently spoke with her about Sin City Seduction.
Tell me about your book.
Sin City Seduction explores what happens when a young man takes a gamble and loses, at least temporarily, and the kind of woman by his side as he turns the tables and gets his life back.
Why did you decide to write it?
The story of Noah Breedlove and Sam Price’s story is the third of four installments for a series called Sin City Secrets. As the name implies, it takes place in and around Las Vegas, Nevada, my home for a couple years and the inspiration behind centering the storyline around gambling and the beauty of the desert.
What’s one thing readers would be surprised to learn about you?
I was in the 90s rap game! Yep, at the beginning of hip-hop, a cross between gospel, rap, pop and jazz. When we recorded on reel-to-reels and cassette tapes! LOL. In conjunction with other projects, I will be releasing two of those singles next year. Stay tuned!
To what do you attribute your success?
Spirit, the All That Is, the I AM that I AM…and the attributes that come with believing. Faith. Confidence. Fearlessness. Power. The ability to fail and try again. Being still and knowing…
What do you hope your legacy will be?
An endless trail of Love and Light.
What’s the most difficult part of being an author?
For me, juggling due lines.
What was your most memorable experience writing this book?
A cross-country relocation as the planned panic unfolded and the world shut down. Driving across Colorado, Nevada, Utah, Arizona and California was magnificent!
What’s next for you?
There are so many options right now! Currently writing two series—one of novellas called The Entangled Trilogy and a new family for Desire’s Dynasties reads. Very excited for readers to meet the Eddingtons! Blue Collar Lover fans are patiently waiting—kinda, sorta—for Nelson and Barry Carter’s stories to be released at the end of next year. Good stuff going on. The best way to stay in the mix is by visiting ZuriDay.com.
Do you have anything you would like to add?
Just to once again thank you for the opportunity to chat. I’ve enjoyed this chance to connect with you and the readers, and would love for all of you to join my next online discussion, which will take place at the end of the year.
