The Secret She Kept
Based on ReShonda Tate Billingsley’s novel of the same name, The Secret She Kept tells the story of a successful magazine executive marries a driven lawyer, who’s on the cusp of a major promotion, only to discover that his wife is severely bi-polar. The movie stars Kyla Pratt explores the meaning of love and the vow of “in sickness and in health.”
Deadly Sexy
Written and directed by Iris Bolling and based on the book by Beverly Jenkins, Deadly Sexy tells the story Jessi Teresa Blake who is no damsel in distress. Rich, smart, and beautiful, JT, or “Lady Blake,” as she is called, is one of the toughest sports agents around. Reese Anthony a sexy trucker, comes to her rescue only to find their lives are intertwined. An ex-employer is out to destroy her and it becomes Reese job to take him down before he blows JT away.

The host of a late-night talk show (Kadeem Hardison) falls in love with the daughter (Lark Voorhies) of a Georgia politician. The movie is based on the book by Carla Fredd.

This romance, based on the book by Carmen Green, focuses on Fox Giovanni who is a hardworking; overly competitive stockbroker who thinks money is the most important thing in life. Her health suffers from that and she ends up having to take time off and spend time away from the hustle and bustle of New York City. She heads south to reconnect with her estranged foster mother, finds out something about family and true love. She ends up falling in love with Van (A. Payne). It’s really a good love story about two people who really don’t want to be in love, but it’s kind of forced on them. It’s a situation that neither one of them want to have that experience of being vulnerable or in love.
Hidden Blessings
The romantic thriller, based on the book by Jacquelin Thomas, follows a cop who falls in love with a prime suspect in a murder case. She has to solve the murder of his wife. Will her emotions get in the way of solving the case?
The Family Business
The Family Business is an American crime family drama created by Carl Weber and based on his bestselling crime drama book series, the series follows the Duncans, an upstanding family that owns and operates an exotic car dealership in New York. It stars Ernie Hudson, Valarie Pettiford and Armand Assante.
Hidden Figures
Hidden Figures is a 2016 American biographical drama film loosely based on the 2016 non-fiction book of the same name by Margot Lee Shetterly about African American female mathematicians who worked at the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) during the Space Race. The film stars Taraji P. Henson as Katherine Johnson, a mathematician who calculated flight trajectories for Project Mercury and other missions. The film also features Octavia Spencer as NASA supervisor and mathematician Dorothy Vaughan and Janelle Monáe as NASA engineer Mary Jackson, with Kevin Costner, Kirsten Dunst, Jim Parsons, Mahershala Ali, Aldis Hodge, and Glen Powell in supporting roles.
